Que Vdora!

Just like life, Project Vdora is an on-going initiative to be better. We never stop working out new ways to make everyone’s lives a little less complicated.

“VDORA” comes from the Spanish slang “vidorra” which means an easy-going or good life. [ i.e. “Que vidorra tienes!” = “What a life you have! ] 

“V” is also a widely used symbol as in the “peace” sign, which originated during the war when people used the hand signal - palm out and index + middle finger up - signifying that the war’s over. 

“Dora” is derived from the short version of the Greek name “Dorothea” meaning “gift” - or “gift from God” as a whole. 

At Project Vdora, we aim to help you live the good life while living a good life.

Project Vdora is based in Toronto, Canada

We want to promote our home's fashion & sewing industry and help sustain jobs and even create more. We also prioritize fair trade practices and by producing our items locally, we can ensure ethical labour practices

In addition, because everything is being done locally or even at home, we have more control over the quality of our collections.

At the moment, we are primarily selling online. We have a Nook in Port Hope, Ontario, which carries most - but not all - of our products. It is located at 68 Walton St, Port Hope, ON Canada.

If you cannot make it to our nook but are curious about how our eco fabrics feel, you may order a free sample. Shipping (via Lettermail) is on us, too!

Shipping policy

Please Note:
Processing & shipping times may be impacted by the ongoing COVID-19 crisis and the holiday rush. Please give a few days allowance to your orders and order ahead of time. Shipping times are currently not guaranteed by couriers.

Holiday Delivery schedule:
As we get closer to Christmas, it is recommended that you place your order at least 2 weeks ahead of your desired date of receipt.

We ship within Canada, to the U.S. and to Europe.

Please note that we cannot guarantee delivery times during the COVID-19 pandemic. Please check with your local government regarding taxes, restrictions, etc. Project Vdora is not responsible for any additional tax placed by your local authorities.

All items will be processed and shipped out in 1 to 3 business days.

Returns and exchanges

We offer a satisfaction guarantee to make sure you're happy with your purchase!

We want to make sure you're satisfied with the quality of our products. If you feel that what you've ordered online isn't a good fit for you, please feel free to return the item/s within 30 days of receipt. Please note that you must initiate a return or exchange by e-mailing support(at)projectvdora(dot)com within 14 days of receipt. 

Non-returnable items: 
Gift cards, items bought on promotion such as a sample sale

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery will not be eligible for a refund.

If 14 days have gone by since you've received your order, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. Please note that you are responsible for shipping your item back to us, unless it is our error. If you are approved for an exchange, we will ship out the exchange item to you for free upon receipt of your original order.

To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
